ACADEMY 3 &

DEBUTING 'REPAIR'

The ‘Hey To The River’ band, announces their second EP titled ‘VOL II” which will debut at their next headline Manchester show at Academy 3 on January 20th.

Deacon Brody started out as a three piece from Burnley Lancashire. Now the ever-evolving Indie/Rock band are consistently proving they have what it takes to produce great music.

From humble beginnings doing their part on the local pub circuits, to playing sold out Manchester shows, featuring on UK tours and rubbing shoulders with industry professionals, it seems that there is not a lot that will slow them down.

Ahead of their new EP release ‘VOL II” we managed to catch up with them, ‘2017 was a massive year from us, from forming in Nov 2016, to standing on stage to a sold out crowd is amazing, I still have to pinch myself every so often.’ Lead singer and guitarist Jayke Cox continued ‘this new record is fantastic, we worked really hard to make sure it was perfect and slaved away over little details.’

Their single off the EP called ‘REPAIR’ is set to break the mould on Spotify and all major platforms. ‘It’s a combination of everything that is us, it has the rocky parts, then the soft melodic tones’, ‘I really think it captures who we are as a band’ Danny Loftus, Drums.

Deacon Brody, formed in November 2016, is a British Rock band from Lancashire, in the North West of England. Composed of Jayke Cox (guitar, lead vocals), Joe McManus (bass, vocals) and Danny Loftus (drums, vocals). An eventful first year has seen them appear on tour up and coming Indie Bands, play sold out shows and the release of their Debut EP, "Hey To The River" which is now available to stream on Spotify and all major platforms.

Deacon Brody proved that sometimes, big sounds can come in deceptively little packages. Despite being a three-piece, the punk rockers delivered an explosive set filled with undeniably catchy choruses and folk-tinged, festival-ready melodies that managed to bring a little of the sunny summer evening from outside to right on stage.
